This Policy applies when you visit our website, submit a contact or demo form, communicate with us, become a customer, use our services, or receive communications directly from TradeBuilt.

TradeBuilt also processes information on behalf of contractor and other business customers through customer relationship management, websites, forms, email, SMS, and automation services. For that customer-controlled data, the customer decides why and how the information is used, and TradeBuilt generally acts as a service provider or processor. Requests concerning data held for one of our customers should first be directed to that customer. We may assist the customer with a verified request.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact and identity information, such as name, business name, job title, email address, telephone number, and mailing address.
  • Business and account information, such as service interests, company details, login and account records, preferences, support requests, and transaction history.
  • Payment information. Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. TradeBuilt may receive transaction status, billing contact information, and limited payment details, but generally does not receive complete card numbers.
  • Communications and content, including form submissions, emails, calls, text messages, attachments, reviews, approvals, and other information you provide.
  • Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie identifiers, and website interactions.
  • Customer-controlled data, including leads, customer contacts, messages, pipeline records, appointment information, estimates, review requests, and workflow activity that our business customers upload or generate through the services.

3. How we collect information

We collect information directly from you; automatically through cookies, logs, analytics, and similar technologies; from our business customers and their authorized users; and from service providers and integration partners when necessary to deliver the services.

4. How we use information

  • Stripe or other payment processors for payment and subscription administration.
  • Our business customers when we process information through customer-configured websites, forms, messaging, or workflows.
  • Government authorities, courts, advisers, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or enforce agreements.
  • A buyer, investor, lender, successor, or adviser in connection with a proposed or completed financing, merger, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business.
  • Other parties at your direction, with your consent, or as otherwise disclosed when information is collected.

TradeBuilt does not sell personal information for money. As of the effective date, TradeBuilt does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, we will update this Policy and provide legally required choices.

6. Cookies and analytics

We and our providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the website functional, remember preferences, measure traffic, understand how visitors use the site, and improve performance. You can control cookies through browser settings and any cookie controls we make available. Blocking some cookies may affect website functionality. Browser do-not-track signals are not handled uniformly across the industry, so the website may not respond to all such signals.

7. Email and text choices

You may unsubscribe from TradeBuilt marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. You may opt out of TradeBuilt marketing texts by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. The TradeBuilt Systems LLC marketing SMS program does not include service, security, billing, or transactional text messages. If a message was sent by one of our business customers, contact that business or use the opt-out method in the message.

8. Customer-controlled data

Our customers are responsible for providing appropriate notices, obtaining required consent, honoring privacy and communication choices, and giving TradeBuilt lawful instructions. We use customer-controlled data to provide and secure the contracted services, follow customer instructions, comply with law, and maintain the integrity of our systems. We do not use a customer's contact list to market TradeBuilt to that customer's contacts.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect security. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, customer instructions, account status, legal requirements, and technical backup cycles. We may retain de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify an individual.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information we process. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting credentials and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.

Depending on where you live and whether an applicable privacy law covers TradeBuilt, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of certain uses or disclosures. You may submit a request to info@tradebuiltsystems.io. We may verify identity, request details needed to locate the information, deny or limit a request where permitted by law, and retain information needed for legal or security purposes. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority. You will not be discriminated against for exercising an applicable privacy right.

If TradeBuilt holds the information solely for a business customer, we may direct the request to that customer. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision and stating that you are appealing.

12. Children

The website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the TradeBuilt website. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
